インターネットを通じて、動画で、試技を見ていました。
世の中の進歩というのは、
インターネットの進歩というのは、
素晴らしいですね。
一瞬で世界と繋がれるなんて、他のツールでは考えられない。

“Coffee Chain”、コーヒーがつなぐ輪、
私のきっかけは大学の学祭でしたが、
今や、当時の想像を超えて、私のCoffee Chainも、
広がっているような気がします。
竹元バリスタの試技を見ながら、
プレゼンを聞きながら、そんなことを考えました。

日々、素晴らしいコーヒーに出会える幸せをかみ締めつつ、
生産流通販売に関わるすべての人に感謝の気持ちをあらたにしています。


沢山の人のサポートで、JBCも、WBCも、成り立っています。
今年お手伝いさせていただいて、そのことを実感しました。
日本のコーヒー界のため、沢山の人が、頑張っています。
皆が同じ方向を向くことが出来れば、素晴らしい結果が待っている、
そんな予感がします。

**-DISQUALIFIED A barista is disqualified when their performance time exceeds sixteen (16) minutes (one minute beyond the 15 minute presentation time)
